Charter SigningPelham Active Transportation Committee

The PATC acts in an advisory capacity to Pelham Town Council and staff on issues specific to active transportation, that is walking, cycling and other forms of human powered transportation such as inline skating, skateboarding and skiing, in Pelham.

Community outreach and education, trails and destinations, accessibility and planned capital improvements are key issues for the PATC which meets the third Tuesday of every month.

The International Charter for Walking was officially signed by Pelham Mayor Dave Augustyn of November 18, 2008. Pelham Active Transportation Committee member Bob Fish, Councillor Peter Papp ad Committee Chair Bea Clark were on hand for the signing. The International Charter for Walking was endorsed by Pelham Town Council in August. Pelham is one of many communities world-wide which have endorsed the Charter.

Additional information on the Committee can be found in the links below or by contacting Manager of Community Services of emailing active@pelham.ca.
