By-Election - Ward One:Notice of Nominations

Nomination forms for the Pelham 2011 Municipal By-Election, Councillor, Ward One may be filed in the Town of Pelham Clerk’s Department, 20 Pelham Town Square, Fonthill, on or after April 5th, 2011 during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday).

The last day to file a Nomination form is May 6th, 2011 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Candidates must file a Nomination form prior to raising campaign funds or incurring campaign expenses.

Nomination forms must be accompanied by cash, or certified cheque or money order payable to the Town of Pelham, in the amount of $100. (This fee will be returned to candidate if elected, or if obtaining more than 2% of the votes cast in the election for the office for which (s)he runs, or if candidate withdraws prior to 2:00 p.m. May 6th, 2011.)

Nomination Day:  The last day to file a nomination form is “Nomination Day”, Friday, May 6th, 2011.  On Nomination Day, forms may be submitted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
