What is the enhanced vaccine certificate or QR code?

As of March 1, 2022, the QR code and vaccination passport requirements have been reduced and the Town of Pelham does not require them for entry into the Meridian Community Centre or Town Hall.

The province of Ontario launched the enhanced vaccine certificate, which includes a scannable QR code that can be presented to access businesses and settings where proof of vaccination is required for entry.

Ontarians were required from January 4, 2022 to February 28, 2022 to use enhanced vaccine certificate with official QR code to access certain businesses and public recreation facilities.
