Odourous Industry Nuisance bylaw passes
Town of Pelham Council passed the Odorous Industries Nuisance bylaw this week, the final bylaw being presented by the chair, Tim Nohara, of the Cannabis Control Committee on Monday, March 23, 2020.

Odorous Industries Nuisance Bylaw deferred to March
The odorous industries nuisance bylaw has been deferred to the March 23rd meeting of Council.
Upon receipt of correspondence from cannabis industry legal teams, Pelham’s Cannabis Control Committee has been authorized by Town Council to prepare a response, working alongside the Town’s legal counsel.

Sign bylaw on hold
The Bylaw Enforcement Department submitted a new sign bylaw at the previous committee meeting and was asked to come back to Council with additional information regarding the new bylaw. Staff was requested to provide clarity regarding signs on private property and brought an update to the Feb. 3 meeting of Council.
