Beware of Possible Drinking Water Scam

The Town of Pelham is once again urging customers to be cautious of a possible drinking water scam in the community. 

Homeowners have reported being contacted by a door-to-door sales company making false claims about drinking water quality and the need for mandatory in-home filtration or water softening systems. These tests and inspections conducted by the salespeople can be misleading and the results do not represent the quality of the Town’s drinking water.

Several devastating barn fires have occurred in Canada during the past two weeks, resulting in a massive loss of animal life and millions of dollars’ worth of property damage. Pelham Transit: Sobeys entrance stop resumed

ATTENTION TRANSIT PASSENGERS

Effective June 3, 2017, the Pelham Transit's Sobeys Stop, located east of the Fonthill Sobeys front entrance, is resumed.

As a result, roadside bus stops on Highway 20 (eastbound and westbound) in front of the property will no longer be in use. We are pleased to resume this door-to-door service to our transit users and to the business.
