Welland & District Humane Society, a Pelham partner

On behalf of the Town, the Welland & District Humane Society handles all animal control and animal-related inquiries and licensing.

As part of their ongoing work, the Humane Society is authorized by the Town to contact residents in a variety of ways, including door-to-door, to inform and educate Pelham residents.

If you a Humane Society representative knocks on your door, don't worry, they're with us!

Annual Municipal Drain Open House

The Town of Pelham will hold their annual Municipal Drain Open House on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Scheduled for 4-6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Pelham Town Hall, the open house will provide residents an opportunity to learn more about municipal drains and their maintenance.

Pelham Transit to alter route in the event of Niagara College strike

Please note: This transit change will only occur IF Niagara College goes on strike.

Pelham Transit riders take note that should Niagara College strike on Monday, October 16, 2017, Pelham Transit will not cross the picket line to drop off or pick up students.  As most transit will be rerouted, so too will Pelham Transit, operating from the corner of First Avenue and Woodlawn.

Connections to Welland Transit, Brock Link, and NOTL Link will also be available at this location.

Ride for Refuge to go throughout Pelham on Sept. 30

The Ride for Refuge takes place this Saturday, September 30.

Riders and walkers will start at Pelham Friends Church on Haist Street in Fonthill and participate in five, 10, 25, and 50 km routes throughout Pelham.

Please view the map to see the routes and keep an eye for an influx of riders and walkers; all registrants start at 9 a.m.

Project Location: Maple Street, Between Sixteen Road and Kilman Road

Project Description: Contractors will be working on Maple Street to complete the replacement of twin culverts located on Maple Street, south of Sixteen Road.
