Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham has declared a significant weather event for ice & snow accumulation on road ways and sidewalks, and blowing snow. Due to the conditions, the Meridian Community Centre will be closed as of 2:00 p.m. and Town Hall as of noon.
Environment Canada has issued a blizzard warning. Blizzard conditions with wind gusts of 100 to 120 km/h which may result in utility outages.
Snowfall amounts of 25 to 50 cm are expected...

Niagara Falls - Welland - Southern Niagara Region, Ont. (046720)
Current details:
Crippling blizzard Friday into Saturday.
Travel will become dangerous and is not advised.
Hazards:
Blizzard conditions with wind gusts of 100 to 120 km/h.
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm by Sunday morning. Locally higher amounts are possible, especially toward Fort Erie.

Notice of Parking Lot Closure
Please be advised of the following parking lot closure.
Where: The Pelham Town Hall south parking lot, found at the back of building adjacent to Peace Park.
Why: Continued work on the Town Hall Renovation project. The contractor will be installing the Coreslab roof structure as part of the renovation.
When: Friday, December 23 from 6:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
Please use an alternate parking area.

Closures on Wednesday December 21, 2022
The Meridian Community Centre will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Town Hall will be closed from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. for a staff event.

The Town of Pelham Municipal Offices and administrative services will be closed beginning Friday December 23, 2022 at noon, and services will resume Tuesday January 3, 2023.
