Town of Pelham Receives $49,998 Community Emergency Preparedness Grant

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham has received a $49,998 provincial Community Emergency Preparedness Grant to purchase and distribute public safety materials and additional equipment and training for the Pelham Fire Department's first responders to support the community in responding to weather events.

Construction Notice: Road Rehabilitation Program - Phase 2
Continuation of the 2024 Road Rehabilitation Program including bonded wearing coarse application on roads mentioned will require rolling closures.
Rolling Closures will take place on the following roadways:
- Kilman Road Between Victoria Ave to Maple Street
- Metler Road Between Victoria Ave to Balfour Street
- Centre Street between Metler Road and Kilman Road

For the Labour Day holiday on Monday, September 2, 2024, the following is a listing of all closures.
The following locations will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday.
- Town of Pelham Municipal Offices - closed
- Meridian Community Centre - closed
- Fire Department administrative services - closed
- Lincoln Pelham Public Library - closed Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2
The above locations will reopen on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Temporary Road Closure Notice
Where: Quaker Road at Line Avenue/Clare Avenue
When: Monday, August 26, 2024 with an estimated completion date of Wednesday, October 9, 2024
Why: Continuation of the the installation of the sanitary trunk for the Quaker Road Reconstruction Project.
This work will require the full closure of the intersection of Clare Ave/Line Ave at Quaker Rd. During this time, through traffic or emergency access outside of working hours will not be accommodated.
