Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham has declared a significant weather event and closed all non-essential Town of Pelham facilities. Environment Canada has issued a Blizzard Warning. Hazardous blizzard conditions with heavy snow and strong winds are expected to continue now through this evening. Total snowfall amounts of 30 to 50cm are anticipated. Current details: 
Winter storm conditions expected the night of Sunday January 16th, 2022 into Monday January 17, 2022.

What: Heavy snow expected. Total snowfall amounts of 25 to 40 cm by Monday night. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour are possible Monday morning into Monday afternoon.

2022 operating and water and wastewater budgets recommended for approval January 24, 2022

The Town of Pelham 2022 operating, and water and wastewater budgets are scheduled to be presented for Council approval at the January 24, 2022 regular meeting of Council at 5:30pm.

The Town of Pelham will continue to provide essential services to residents during the modified version of Step Two of the Provincial Roadmap to Reopen. The new time-limited measures in place by the Province of Ontario come into effect Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. for at least 21 days (until January 26, 2022), subject to trends in public health and health system indicators.
