Flags lowered to half mast as the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney's lying-in-state begins

The Town of Pelham has lowered the flags across the community as the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney's lying-in-state begins today, March 19, 2024. 

The Right Honourable Brian Mulroney was Canada’s 18th Prime Minister. During his leadership, he made meaningful progress on significant issues affecting Canadians and was instrumental in negotiating and implementing free trade agreements that impacted economic relations across North America. Mr. Mulroney was recognized for his many positive contributions as the recipient of multiple honours, including the Order of Canada and the Ordre national du Québec.

The Town of Pelham will fly the flags at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral, March 23, 2024, in recognition of the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney and his service to Canadians.
