Pelham, ON – Effective Tuesday June 13, 2023, Town of Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner has removed the open-air burn ban initially issued on June 7, 2023. Open-air burning and fireworks are permitted in the Town of Pelham following the lifting of the ban.

The Town of Pelham 2023 Final Property Tax bill was mailed out on June 8, 2023. Residents that have not received their final tax bill by June 19 2023, are encouraged to contact the Pelham Tax Department via email at taxes@pelham.ca or by phone at 905-980-6678.

Pelham, ON – Effective Wednesday June 7, 2023, Town of Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner has declared an open-air burn ban due to continued dry conditions and impacts from the smoke plumes from the ongoing forest fires in Quebec and Northeastern Ontario.

The project will enhance the natural tree canopy in and bring awareness and education on conservation and the importance of the canopy.

On August 30, 2022, Council passed the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law, which resulted from a thorough public consultation process and extensive work by Town staff.
