Phone scam warning about COVID-19 vaccines

​Niagara Region Public Health has received a number of reports of a phone scam in the area about the COVID-19 vaccine. Please note that we are not calling residents to schedule vaccine appointments at this time, and will never ask for payment for COVID-19 immunization. If you receive a call like this, please hang up immediately and do not provide any personal information such as your health card or credit card number.

Pelham, ON –The Town of Pelham will be offering this year’s Family Day events virtually, complying with provincial orders and adhering to public health best practices and advice.

From Feb. 12-15, the Town will utilize the GooseChase app, challenging families in a fun, entertaining manner. Participants will complete tasks that may include submitting a photo or video or solving riddles or puzzles. Participants earn points by completing missions.

Special pre-authorized property taxes COVID-19 payment plan for 2021

On Monday, February 1, 2021, the Town of Pelham Councill approved the Special Pre-authorized Property Taxes COVID-19 Payment Plan for 2021.

Pelham Council approved the creation of the plan for 2021, allowing all taxpayers whose taxes were paid in full as of February 28, 2020, and who have since experienced severe financial hardship due to the pandemic, to pay their outstanding 2020 and 2021 property taxes penalty and interest-free over a 10- month period starting March 2021.
