Pelham, CAJ discuss ethical press solution

Pelham, ON– After the release of a statement from the CAJ last night, Town of Pelham officials spoke with the Association’s President, Nick Taylor-Vaisey, on a conference call this morning.
During the call, Taylor-Vaisey confirmed the Canadian Associations of Journalists (CAJ) did not attempt to contact the Town of Pelham for comment or to make the Town aware of the criticisms or accusations in the statement, both of which are key points in the Association’s ethics...

Please be advised that Murdoch Street will be closed for cross culvert replacements.
When: Wednesday, March 21, 2018 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Murdoch Street
Why: Two cross culverte replacements
Alternatre Route: Off Chantler Rd heading south as far as 480 Chantler and from Webber Road heading north as far as 370 Webber.

When: March 20, 2018 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Foss Rd between Effingham and Haist Street
Why: To replace a cross culvert
Alternate route: From Haist St. west up to 163 Foss Road and from Effingham east to 182 Foss Road.

Bylaw to be considered at the April 3, 2018, Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 20 Pelham Town Square, Fonthill. Comments regarding the name change must be made to the Town Clerk via email (nbozzato@pelham.ca) no later than 12 p.m. March 28, 2018.

If your property has been damaged as a result of Town winter operations, specifically that of the sidewalk plowing operations, please notify the Town to ensure your property is on the list for repair this spring; repairs are not carried out prior to spring unless a critical safety hazard has been created.
