Town to raise flag in support of Autism

Join the Town of Pelham on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 4 p.m. in front of Town Hall as the Autism Ontario flag is raised.

Autism Ontario’s Raise the Flag campaign unites families, schools, communities, government and professionals in recognizing World Autism Awareness Day, bringing to light to struggles and triumphs of people on the autism spectrum.

The campaign also features educational toolkits for educators from primary through to post-secondary school.

Town of Pelham Municipal Office Closure

Please be advised that the Town of Pelham Municipal Offices will be closed on Friday, March 30th, 2018 and Monday, April 2nd, 2018 due to the Easter holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018.

UPDATE: Notice of Road Closure - Haist Street

UPDATE:Haist Street (in the area mentioned below) will be closed overnight March 28-29 due to issues arising during excavation. On March 29, the road will be closed from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Please be advised that Haist Street will be closed between Metler Road and Overholt Road for a cross culvert replacement.

When: March 28, 2018, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: Haist Street between Metler Road and Overholt Road

Why: To replace a cross culvert

A message from the Pelham Fire Department: Smoke alarm recall

The Pelham Fire Department would like notify residents that a recall on house smoke alarms has been issued by Health Canada for alarms manufactured between September 10, 2016 and October 13, 2017.  The smoke alarms have a pill shaped design on the front of them and involve two models (PI2010CA and PI9010CA) which is displayed on the back of the unit.  The hazard is that there may be a yellow cap on the side of the unit which blocks one of the two smoke sensors.  If found, contact Kidde...
