Pelham, ON – As the countdown to Canada’s 150th birthday continues, the Town of Pelham will raise the Canadian flag at Centennial Park in Fenwick on May 12, 2017.
The event, scheduled for 11:50 a.m., signals the beginning of a full and exciting list of events and activities being offered by the Town.
“Pelham will have events and activities for all ages as we count down to Canada Day,” said Mayor Dave Augustyn. “The flag raising serves as the starting point for all of those events; we hope that you will be able to participate and help Pelham celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.”
The Town has a full list of offerings, including but not limited to: mural mosaic workshops, heritage tea party, $1.50 swims, indie music fest, and much more. The goal is to have 10,000 participants in the various planned activities.
